Tripadvisor is legit, they got us through some rough spots with some pretty bad ass hotels.
When I get back I am pretty sure that I owe Dan (and likely the rest of you knuckleheads) a few pitchers. We should get that done before the holidays.Matthew Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913266274504660903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13744327.post-65934971928776802612007-11-29T16:26:00.000-08:002007-11-29T16:26:00.000-08:00What, no links? If it were a tripadvisor review, it'd have no content, and only links to other stuff. :P

Looking forward to your return man!Nathan Johnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14665361964359790008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13744327.post-22343028822759169752007-11-28T21:26:00.000-08:002007-11-28T21:26:00.000-08:00It was nice. It was a reasonable place and our room opened out onto the courtyard/garden in the back which was nice and quiet. The room was fairly large, clean and the staff was friendly. I would stay there again. Wow, that kind of read like a tripadvisor.com review.Matthew Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913266274504660903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13744327.post-25645444248765616992007-11-28T19:30:00.000-08:002007-11-28T19:30:00.000-08:00The Kyichu was the "preferred" hotel in the Lonely...The Kyichu was the "preferred" hotel in the Lonely Planet. I think I know which hotel you are referring to. There seemed to be one hub for a lot of the tours on the small street in front of the Jokhang. Kia probably remembers the name....Matthew Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913266274504660903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13744327.post-27898058389727609222007-11-27T10:36:00.000-08:002007-11-27T10:36:00.000-08:00So how did you get to Gamden? It was in the middle of the old section of Lhasa. We could smell the incense from Jokhang from there.roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01794031496592253066noreply@blogger.com
